The two Swiss forwards Emanuel Antener und Matthias Hofbauer have been elected to the All-Star team. World champion Sweden is present with forward Kim Nilsson and defender Martin Östholm, while Finland’s defender Tatu Väänänen and goalkeeper Herni Toivoniemi make up the last two players.

A cow, two bears and a unihockey-ball go to the Hallenstadion together
They belong to sporting events, just like the line in front of the food stands: The mascots. Because this years WFC has three of them, we try to bring some order into the mascot-chaos.

Sweden dominates Finland and wins Gold medal
Sweden secures an easy victory for the WFC title. Finland, having won the last two WFC, stood no chance and lost 5:11.

Switzerland secures bronze medal
The Swiss national team ends its WFC at home with a win and secures the bronze medal. The game against Germany for third place was won with a score of 8:0.
