Volunteers for the Men's Floorball World Championship 2012
Voluntary helpers for an organisational committee are a vital part of the organisation of a large sporting event such as the Men's Floorball World Championship 2012 in Bern and Zurich. Without the willingness of the sport-loving population to provide their services free of charge, the implementation of such an event would not be viable, as the costs would blow any budget.
The Floorball World Championship also offers many advantages for the participating volunteers. Roles such as team support, line referee, media and VIP support, as well as many additional interesting jobs, offer volunteers the opportunity to come into direct contact with players, sponsors and spectators and to experience and help to shape the atmosphere first hand. Each volunteer will, of course, be equipped with cool, sports clothes which he/she can keep afterwards as an enjoyable souvenir.
